Shy as in anxious. She'll want to talk to me but she lowers her voice so that it's impossible to hear. She drinks quite a bit to get rid of that fault.

She came home drunk during my date with the whale. We had a movie on in the living room, yet she was talking over it and telling me all about her evening. Then she went to her room, grabbed a x-mas present and some wrapping paper and she came back into the living room, sat in front of us and started wrapping her gift loudly while talking some more about her evening. Given my situation (date that was going nowhere) I wanted to LOL and high-five her right there and then.
