Good point. Some people here have a "standing workstation", i.e. they stand all day at their cubicle. Work provides them with stands so they can raise their monitors and whatnot.

They look ridiculous. But good for them.
 
I try to walk at least 4 km, 4-5 times a week and do a small workout with weights after I walk. Usually at night, but I've read the best time is in the morning on an empty stomach after you wake up. I tried that once. Wasn't really for me, but I may try again. I start pickup hockey tonight (1.5 hrs........ haven't played any serious pickup hockey in probably 8 years) so that will help a wee bit. I hope I don't have a heart attack.
 
Yeah I need to up the number of times a week. I like to finish off with abs and push ups....If I have time I might throw some extra shit in there, but that's really all I need. I do think your hockey will help a bit. I'm not a morning person at all. so the chances of that happening are slim to none, though Bacon has mentioned it too. I have done it on an empty stomach though, which isn't too bad, I feel less sluggish, though by the time I am done, I am starving!
 
Have to get back to it here. I have a wedding in November and my appearance for it is very important. Was doing pretty well with weight/pushup workouts for a few months straight but it's gotten so hot I have not been doing it and I feel like a fat blob. Afraid to weigh myself. It's so hard to start up again. Have to man up. Fuck.
 
ya I also started doing pushups and plan on starting pullups, but those fuckers are hard to master. I will use a chair to help spot me at first until i gain some strength. I hear they are good for the back, shoulders, arms, but mostly back.
