I ran into one of my Strava followers during my morning ride. We ended up doing 10 miles together and since he's much fitter than me he let me draft behind him the whole time. Boys this is a game changer. Average speed went way up and heart rate went way down. The effect is HUGH.

I haven’t done the research but pre-Internet days we always went by the 30% rule

If you stay on someone’s back wheel you use 30% less energy on average
