Why no water bottle, Matty? Just using a camelback?

After you bonk do you walk home or ride back slowly?
Camelbak is sufficient for most of the ride, will refill it about 2/3 of the way. Might also buy a water bottle soon and put it in the cage.

I ain't bonking today, I planned my fueling carefully. I got 10 of those and 10 Clif bars:

This is the first century ride accompanied by forum posting breaks in the history of cycling.

I don’t know how you ride and stop and then keep riding etc.

When I stop my heart rate spikes and I start sweating even more than when I was while pedaling.

I really wish I didn’t have to cycle in the fucking swamp 8 months out of the year.

This riding in Canada thing looks so much more enjoyable.

what's your pre, during, and post-ride stretching look like?
I typically spin on the bike at a high cadence/very low pedal pressure. 90-100 crank revs per minute for 30-40 mins. Just putt around the hood.

I reckon I won't feel like doing that after 100 miles. I'll probably just do knee raises for the rest of the day. Tomorrow will be a quick and easy recovery ride.
