Absolutely no vegetation in this joint. Zero.

I live a spartan existence. There are no pictures on my walls either.

It's not that I don't like plants. There must have been 50 assorted plants inside my ex house and I thought it was great. My ex looked after them.

But here? I would feel sorry for any plant that got stuck with me here.

In terms of food, I'll say potato. I really like potato. Baked, mashed - particularly french fried.

I eat tomato almost every day too but I do not love it in the same way as potato.



If we are talking about posters, I don't know. Neither of them have really engaged here. I haven't connected with either. I see them both talking about themselves in third person - which seems shticky and I'm not a fan of shtick. They post a few picks but I really only look at picks from people I know.

I don't like to cop out on the question but I really have no opinion on potato and tomato the posters. If someone announced they were the same guy, I would just shrug.

Evidence suggests it is entirely possible. I was walking in a parking lot the other day and I walked right into a ladder that was hanging off the back of a van. Bashed myself right in the forehead with a loud clatter. It goes to show how I am prone to having my mind wander from the immediate situation at times.

Fortunately it was my head I hit and not a more important area. My head is indestructible.


Does this relate to biking? I hope not but maybe. And I am riding almost every day now - and without a helmet.

May god have mercy.

Today was an odd day because the electricity was turned off. I knew it would be off at some point but as it turns out, I woke up to no electricity.

So that will really fuck up your day.

So I went and picked up a coffee and came back did some electricity free stuff. First I untangled a necklace of Jenny's that had gotten all balled up on her. I actually enjoyed that a lot. I like puzzles and it was like an interesting original puzzle. Maybe I'll post a pic of it.

Other than that, I went through a bunch of Trivial Pursuit cards for awhile in preparation for the upcoming Jeopardy audition. I played the piano and worked on a new song which is coming along great.

I did take a poop in there, yes.

Then I took Jenny shopping. We went to City Rags for some special jeans she wanted, then we went to Play It Again Sports for a couple 15 pound dumbbells she wanted, then we went for a few groceries.

By the time I dropped her off and got home, the power had been restored and I had a dinner of leftover roast beef with potato, tomato, lettuce and onion - and a couple of Ah Caramels.

After I ate I got on the computers to catch up on message checking and whatnot - and here I am. No wagers so far.

I need to shave and Jenny and I will be going for a walk in a little bit.



So kind of a screwy day.

Last time that question came up, I made a crass trying-to-be-funny comment about how I wouldn't like the part about being Elton John's cum dumpster. Then Rogue Scholar jumped in and corrected me that Bernie isn't really gay and he had lived with Elton John for a time but not as lovers.

So I don't know.

But as much as I don't want to do gay stuff as Mudcat, the question is about being someone else. And if I was him and he was gay, then I would be gay, and the gay stuff wouldn't seem like a problem. It would just be what comes naturally.

I like my choice. Bernie Taupin.

I don't see it. I remember the VD thread as being very epic. He hadn't been around much at all - plus there was the giddiness of a new forum.

I am an open book around here all the time. Most questions about me have already been answered.

But if someone stumbles upon the right question, the shit could get real.

Today's power shutdowns "will be necessary to facilitate electrical upgrades."

The notice said the power would be out for potentially 2 hours. It ended up being 7.
