Saulty. What type /model do u have at home? As soon as I finish lunch I'm off to Sears A quick reply would be awesome:chickendance:

I don't think they make the one I have home now. It's 7 years old. I think is K45.

The one at work is newer. B145 Office Pro.

I think the more expensive models are programmable. Like you can program it to make coffee at 7:45 am which is fine but it only takes a minute once you turn it on in the morning to make a cup so it's not a big deal for me.

That might be the one I got. Thank God Mr X posted while I was at the store. I was standing there forever trying to decide. I ended up with the Elite. There were really only two choices available there. ..The elite and the 2.0? that was about the same deal I guess except it was $30 more and could make a carafe. I guess that would be nice with company, but it kind of defeats my purpose, so I went with the simplest, least expensive one for now anyway. Damn those little cups do seem expensive. I got 3 boxes since I had extra gift card room, but I will shop around for a cheaper place to buy.
Also I want one of those K cup holders, but those seemed ridiculously expensive for what they were. I'll look around on that too.

I also got 2 4 packs of Red Bull.

Thanks for the input guys. I will let you know what I think. :chickendance:

Love this. I made a Chai Tea Latte and if I liked Chai Tea Lattes, it would be awesome.

Question. I know you are only "supposed" to use the K cup once, so why wouldn't you always choose the larger size mug option and just dispose of what you don't use? Is it much stronger if you use the small mug than the large one?

This does seem pretty ungreen but damn. Easy Breezy.

If you want to save on k-cups you can buy the ecobrew reusable cup from amazon and fill it with your own coffee.

Unless I put a ton of creamer in it, this coffee tastes bad/funny.

I am using bottled water. There was a filter thing that came along, but I did not put that in. I read that a lot of people say it has a plastic taste for a while. I'm going to get some vinegar to cycle thru I guess.

We have two Keurigs. One uses the K-cups and the other is the Vue. TOM ditched both of them in favor of a coffeemaker that cost over $1000 that makes coffee that's too strong and that I don't like. I much prefer a regular coffee pot to any of the other ones that we spent too much money on.

$1000 for a coffee maker? Wow. What on earth does that do that warrants $1000? Does it have a lifetime warranty? I am intrigued. You guys must really like coffee--a lot.
