Harmony has been keeping a little bowl of candy corn on her desk for the last week or so. I have had a few. I would guess 8.

I can't remember ever having it before. I bet I probably have and just forgot, but whatever, I have definitely had it now.

It's okay. Not quite what I expect each time I put one in my mouth; I expect it to be straight-up sweet but it is more caramely or something.

It's not an all-time favorite but it's alright.

Not totally random. Candy corn was established earlier as the thread's metaphor for paralyzing fear.

But delicious.
