Afraid to step on a scale. Do you know what months of 90% casino food and sitting on your ass all day does to you with no working out? Yeah, it ain't pretty. Bought a weight but too lazy to even open the box. Will start back with that then will likely take it to a local gym.

Sincerely,

Lazy fuck

When you’ve gone full fat ass for a while it’s tough to turn it around. I recommend a meal delivery service like a Fit Food Fresh or Deliver Lean. It takes the guess work out of it and you can even order meals that you could bring to the poker room (meals that don’t need to be heated up).

On my 4th consecutive week of lifting heavy 30-45 mins 3x a week (push/pull/legs & abs). Eating 1750 cals (approx. .8g of protein per lb. of lean body mass) and trying to drop 6-10lbs...

Keeping it simple. Will complicate it once I've proven I can do the simple.

Right after posting this I tore something deadlifting. Not too bad tho. Gave lifting a week off since most my exercises are heavy compound. Blasted a ton of cardio - I'm sure I lost some lean body mass but lost some non-lean as well. Back at it as of yesterday. Can't wait to be going the other direction. So hungry.

Deadlifting.

AKA: A great way to injure yourself.

I gave that up after the 3rd injury.

We did our first mountain bike race in 17 years on Sunday. 2.5 hours of sweaty fun. And then I got home and I had virtually no energy for about 15 hours.

I get it, massive weights going from "dead" to active. Love it though, probably my fave lift, compound everything. Guess I'll be singing a new tune when I get laid up a couple more times. I've quit behind the head military press and upright rows, they both seem to mess up my rotator.

Yep, sounds like you're gonna learn the hard way...

Stick to high reps and lower weights. Less stress on body and you still get the pump if you go til failure.

Only start counting reps once it begins to hurt...

As the expert at buffet eating, I’ve managed to eat healthy. Stick w the proteins and keeps your salads dry. Only get one plate and my rule is whatever protein or salad I can put on that plate is acceptable.

I do this once a day and then 2 muscle milks during the day.

Oh man, keep your salads dry? Bad enough to eat em, now you gotta eat em dry.

Well I can’t say completely dry. I put balsamic vinegar on it. Yeah, I hate salad but if I take the grilled chicken or the pork carnitas they usually have at the buffet and mix it in, it doesn’t suck. I guess another good thing s our the buffet I go to is that their desserts look boring, so I’m never really tempted.

I’ve been in the gym 4-5 days a week. About to start a 10% shredding program w 6 exercises a day 4 days a week. 3 off days where I will do cardio 30 minutes. It comes w a meal plan so it should be pretty easy.

Right now I’ve been cooking more than usual. New favorite food has become sardines. High protein. Low calories.
