Will Hamels be traded? Just might be it appears but hopefully he gets signed! Cole waited this long so if i was him might just see what his value is on the market in couple months!

Trade Lee and sign Hamels is my call! Texas has to like Lee and Yanks would make an offer too! Get the Texas 3B prospect Olt! Victorino has to be on the top of the list to be gone!

Cole gets 6 Yrs and 144 Mil! Phillies had to do it and believe Hamels could have squeeze a little more out if he wanted too! Guy is a gamer we couldn't lose!
 
Big series in Atlanta starts tonight! Anything less than 2 wins says Victorino and possibly Lee (if someone will take on contract) could be traded by Tuesday deadline! Maybe even Blanton if he has good final start and Polanco now damaged goods! Hope this ML journeyman Frandsen who has hit over .300 last 2 minor seasons can step up at 3B for Phils!

IMO opinion all these trades if happening will probably get prospects who won't likely materialize into quality big leaguers! Vic and Blanton nothing special plus Rangers probably will get Greinke so there goes Lee to Texas!

Like I stated earlier, been into entire season more not just waiting for the playoffs to begin as a given! Probably looks like they can catch the Pirates! They have starting pitching but the starting 8 they have to put out every day can't keep producing like it is!

My son shook his head at me after late Monday like, you're just not giving up, are you?

OK, 3 times a charm so 2013 will be the year or The End with this thread!

Great spring training individually with only concern (big one) in Halladay never being close to his old self! Maybe 4-5 starts and back to say 80%-90% or maybe not? Still have two #1s in Hamels and Lee but Phils not be to be counted on 1-8 is in need of a 3rd #1! Relief staff appears much deeper and Adams so far is a great set up man for Pap!

The lineup appeared better than the start of 2012 with a Howard and Utley in there and M Young coming over! D Brown had great spring and Darrin Ruf only disappointment being sent to AAA! Can Mayberry-Nix platoon in OF be good enough, probably not IMO until D Young comes back! At what effectiveness though?

Start of season has shown their achilles heel of not hitting with RISP again, won't get the 5th playoff spot if it doesn't get better no matter how good pitching is! First series with Braves showed how better they are in putting runs on the board than the Phils!

Earlier had Phils at 88 wins and hopefully enough for the play-in game! Not as confident though now unless Halladay comes back to a close resemblance or Howard has a big year with couple other guys namely Utley, Rollins, Young, Brown, ??? having a big year!
 
It could be over already Archie! No timing hitting so far the main topic of team!

Taking 2 of 3 from a depleted Marlins team is a must to even think bout 5th playoff spot! And I'm nervous bout having Halladay on the mound! If the Fish score 5-6 runs today, then the Phils should score 6-7, good teams do that!
