2 of my 3 nieces live in California,specifically San Francisco.They have asked me to come visit but I have been there about 30 years ago and wasn’t impressed then

Agree that it's a beautiful state with many good qualities, but "California's weather" is laughable. Florida is humid as all hell, California has much drier and more manageable summers.

Beaches are nicer in FLA though, for sure!

SF proper is kind of a dump. The general Bay area is stunning, but that NorCal humidity/fog is a bit much.

Blitty had the best spot in Costa Mesa IMO. SoCal weather minus the ridiculous LA traffic.

South Beach is awesome. Good place to die.

South Florida is a disgusting steam bath 9 months out if the year. Other than nice beaches a large economy and homeless people it has NOTHING in common with California.

25 years ago April was the best month in South Florida. Now it's a STEAM BATH.

Trust me, it's disgusting. There are homeless people everywhere in Ft. Lauderdale, Oakland Park, Pompano Beach, Miami etc.
