What does this sentence imply?

It implies that cops will sometimes do things they're not supposed to do. It doesn't mean I disagree with it.

The gist of my post was there's a big difference from beating someone cuffed vs not cuffed. If cops are going to get some shots in, do it BEFORE the cuffs come out.

I've had my share of run ins with shithead cops when I was younger but I was *only* beaten once, for not shutting up when I was told to.

They pulled me out of camera view to administer justice 'cause they didn't like my attitude.

I guess it is one of the fringe benefits of the job.
I wish I could punch people in the face that piss me off and have not face any consequences.

Too many cops act like criminals while on the job and see nothing wrong with their behaviour.

Yeah I hear ya but if you're talking about cops prepared for riots it's kinda like soldiers prepared for a battle. At the slightest disturbance they're going to use more force than necessary.

Don't kid yourself my friend, this can happen anytime. They don't really answer to anyone and the other cops got their back, above the law is a good description of how they behave sometimes.

A cops word vs joe citizen? Who are they going to believe?

Already have a criminal record and claim brutality? They always take the word of the cop.

Yeah but with cameras all over the place these days it's tougher for cops to get away with it. Cameras in cruisers, cell blocks, joe blow citizens with cellphone cameras. All over the place, we're being watched!

And we need it because cops aren't afraid of being dishonest if it serves their purpose.

Sometimes, as luck would have it, you find yourself in the right place at the right time.

BTW, the guy wasn't fortunate enough to take those shots to his face by a closed hand. He felt the butt end of a handgun. That's gotta hurt. Plainclothes cop. Would he have reacted the same way had he been in uniform? Hmmmm....would make a good case study.
