There is a very fine line to tread when riffin lyrics about sex. Most people want the images of candle light dinners and walks on the beach and not battle of the sexes grinding it out. It is something to behold about how much sex is exposed in movies and TV very casually but in music it has much more of a drastic impact on society.

Slow Hand is a good example of bringing sex in music to society in a manner that pleases most.

The double-entendre has played a huge role in sex-music, no question. The human race is like one big 7 year-old snickering about hinted naughtiness. Like, omg I know what he's really saying!!!!! Tee hee!!!

Brown Sugar, how come you taste so good?

Squeeze my lemon till the juice runs down my leg.

And whatnot.

Super deluxe.

I gotta say - and I ain't joking - I am feeling more motivated all the time to write some country music. I listen to this stuff every morning at work and it is so formulaic - and I have such a clear picture of the formula. You just need one little conceptual inspiration and BOOM! - off to the races. I feel sure I could come up with stuff that fits right in with what is on the radio.

I certainly won't do it before I am done with my current project - and who knows? - maybe I will never get around to it again - but dammit, it keeps tapping me on the shoulder.

Country lyrics seem like they'd be a a good time to write but man that music just blows.

There are lots of great country songs. Unfortunately, they don't tend to be mine. As I believe I said earlier, I can barely stand the stuff I wrote that got so much praise and got me ~15 publishing contracts around North America. The thought of listening to those songs again makes me wince.

Often I would be sick of the songs before I was finished creating the demo. Insipid formulaic stuff - like so many of the hits on the radio.

But there is something about the process that is calling to me. I feel like it's a code I can crack.

Complete inspiration here I feel like this came to me in a dream

it dont matter what u say
ill keep thinking that youre gay
ive never seen a fag like u
all the right moves from all the wrong faggots
so yeah you're goin down

I will allow others to perform it but not for profit
