If you want a copy of Insanity http://www.extremefitnessresults.com/insanity-workout.htmlor P90X http://www.extremefitnessresults.com/p90x-workout-system.html, just say the word.

Or, I or Mr. X can show you how to use a torrent site (if you don't know already) and you can grab what you need.

I haven't done Insanity yet, but it's pretty much all cardio/plyometrics and looks terrifying. I'm doing 30 days of Birkam yoga http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bikram_Yoga and then either more Bikram or Insanity, or catch up with Sr. X wherever he is in the next cycle of p90X.

mrs.x its a bitch... ive done it the last 4 months or so and it doesnt hurt anymore, but ive done it with a few girls that "thought" they were in shape and they were gassed after the 9minute pre-stretch warm up... it can be as hard as you make it, but i havent found anything better.

That's what I thought. I'm not quite ready to commit to it yet. My hardest day of P90X is plyo, and that's pretty much all Insanity is. I like the fact that you don't need anything except yourself. I bought a legit copy from my friend in HI. She's a Beach Body coach and I figured I owed it to her since I downloaded a pirated copy of P90X and she was the one that turned me on to it.

So for right now, Bikram which is pretty freaking hard and the Insanity diet, which is pretty much like all the Beach Body diets....300/400 healthy calories 5x a day.

I'm not looking to kill myself via some ridiculous workout program or anything. Just thought an hour of cardio each day...four days a week...followed by some weights....would help curb my belly growth.

Everyone here seems to think it's a waste of time? wtf?

I don't think it's a waste of time. Do it!

I just really like P90X and you don't have to go anywhere. Calm your storm rash balls.

One hour of cardio each day is gonna make you good at doing one hour of cardio each day. If you don't change your diet, you'll compensate for the energy you spent by eating/drinking proportionally more and you won't lose much of anything. But you might start watching Ironman competitions on TV and become one of those jagoffs who think they're triathletes even though they've been working a desk job 40 hours a week all their lives.

Cardio is great for you. It's just not a fat-burning solution in and by itself.

Bread leave the fad workout programs to the rookies son.

Change the way you eat and you can drink all the light beer you want, do no cardio and lose the beer gut.

But it won't be easy. Changing what you've been eating day in and day out for the last 2 years or whatever is no easy task.

Eat this 6 days a week and allow yourself one cheat day on the weekends:

Breakfast- Egg white omelette/dry rye toast/half cup of apple juice and Omega 3/6/9 with a multi-vitamin. If you can't deal with the dry rye toast add a small amount of low sugar peanut butter to it.

Mid morning snack- Celery, carrots, hummus and a protein shake (supermarkets sell snack size celery and carrots to make it easy). Buy a big jug of whey protein that you can mix with water in a shaker. Sabra makes a ton of different hummus flavors. Find one you like. I prefer the Classic one.

Lunch- boneless skinless chicken, brocolli and brown rice

Mid afternoon snack- low sugar peanut butter sandwhich on whole wheat bread (use Polanars all fruit jelly or a low sugar jelly) and a fat free yogurt or your choice

Dinner- A lean protein dinner of some type. Make grilled chicken your friend. Eat it with your favorite veggies. Do you like salmon. Salmon is great. If you have sushi for dinner and must have rice ask for brown rice but have as little rice as possible at night.

Desert- If a chocolate protein shake doesn't cut it, Skinny Cow makes low carb/low sugar ice cream pops. Have one of those.

If you don't drink water, start drinking water. You don't have to drink an obnoxious amount but at least 40-60 ounces a day. If you drink regular soda stop that immediately.

BTW, there is nothing wrong with using your FREE training session. Doing cardio in addition to following the meal plan I've devised for you will speed up your the results you desire but if you choose not to do cardio you will still see results. Trust me.
