Does anyone else get a bit sad just for a millisecond when you think about all the things that we won't be around to see? I mean...how bonkers is shit gonna be in 100 years? 200 years? 500 years?????

Would be great just to see what happens.

But I guess my great great great great great great grandpappy woulda like to have been pulling ass on the internet as well. Gotta roll with the puppet masters.

I agree Muddy. Obama is black. Half black. Like you say, look at him.

All joking aside though...

If you guys want to call him black because it makes you feel better go right ahead. But he is a mixed race president, not a black one.

I love that hair...whoever did that pic did a nice job.

Looks like they used John Edward's hair in that pic Cougar.

Edwards has some nice hair.

Pavy do Greeks have any black in them? I am only 50% Greek but I need to know.

No. The first time I saw a black person in close proximity and not on TV was when I was 22 years old. When I was groing up in Greece no black person ever dared to come there as an illegal immigrant. Now they are all over the place.

I don’t care if your definition of when a decade is over differs from mine.

I don’t care if what constitutes a black president differs from mine.

I don’t care if my cookie cutter, CNN list of events if not what was the most memorable events of the decade in question.

I don’t even care that I was typing Socks instead of Sox and not realizing it.

All I care about is the memories so stop pissing on them and reflect ya basturds.

good thread Wally....

good time to reflect on the past 10-11 years....

its unbelievable that we haven't had a major terror attack on us soil since 9-11.

do you remember that day and the days/weeks/months afterwards..... kinda thinking it was a foregone conclusion that our life had changed?

that we would be like Northern Ireland and have bus and subway bombs and public square suicide bombers every few months?

The events of 9/11 were certainly unbelievable as I watched that day. I had fractured a bone in my leg and was home from work when it happened.

The stuff after 9/11 changed my views of the world and more importantly our "leaders" after all the conspiracy stuff started coming out. While the majority of the things were just ridiculous there still remains several very intriguing and unanswered questions about the day of and days leading up to 9/11.

Wally this is the second time you have been accused of "getting caught up in the now." You vehemently denied it when pronouncing Cam Newton the most athletic QB ever and now this Wal. We just present the facts here.

Regardless wally, I hope the next 10 years is your best yet.

NcBall's, I never denied that this thread wasn't in the now. Course that now does extend over a decade.
McBall's Cam IS the most athletic college quarterback ever.
McBall's, list some memorable occasions and stop trying to be McBall's being Archie being Matty.

what did I do now?

by the way Michael Vick, Antwan Randle el, Kordell Stewart, Charlie Ward, John Elway, Matt jones, Steve Mcnair, Doug Flutie, Hines Ward and George Blanda might all have somthing to say about the most athletic qb ever

Archie the debate excludes "pure passers" or traditional quarterbacks. When I talk about athletic quarterback I refer to an athlete first and a quarterback second who had to evolve into playing the position. That isn't to say that traditional quarterbacks aren't athletic or even as is claimed with Big Ben the most athletic player on any given team though.

When you compare the potential of what Cam has and the proof of what he's done the case can be made is is the best "athlete turned quarterback" ever.
