Anyone know what the expected revenue from this stadium is? Because the Marlins tried this back in 1997 and won but a fire sale then occurred. They payroll is gonna go up $50 million. Gamelive should get a suite for juror, daft, and mcbaseball. Make it happen poloroid, for the marlins sake.

Sounds like they have been stashing money away they were receiving from the other clubs for the last few years.

Have no idea how or if the Heat, Dolphins, Panthers or Marlins make money. Miami is not a sports fanatic town like NY, Boston or Chicago.

I definitely believe this but, but that will be gone quickly. They really need fans to go to
The game. The new uniform will help, they can
Sell sign advertising in the park. But I feel these signings is about a new tv deal, and who knows once a new one is signed, if they don't unload salary. But I don't see any team
Taking alberts 10 year deal.

Will see if they can really mArket themselves as "Latin America's team"

Possibly. But you're also neglecting to mention that for the first time, this ownership will be getting revenues from concessions and parking. Something they have not received in the 10 or so years they've owned the organization.

Its important to remember that players like Reyes and Pujols (if he signs) help pay for their own contracts through merchandising/TV deals
Etc......

By going ape shit in free agency the Marlins will now get way more revenue for the naming rights to the stadium.

I think the rub here is teams like the Mets are giving Florida money to meet payroll for years. Ownership stashes money. Ownership uses that money to buy the Mets big players. MLB will be inquiring about this.

Agree it's total bullshit. I thought if you are going to
Have revenue sharing there needs to be salary cap floor.
