There have been several reports (Buster Olney included) that have stated Hanley is upset and demanding a trade because of the Reyes signing.

Seeing things from the outside Hanley has been a punk for quite awhile where he was ripped by fellow teammates and didn't play for Fredi Gonzalez! His size IMO makes him more appropriate to move to 3B!

I think this dude took synthetic testosterone which can be identified thru testing than the natural testosterone your body produces because it's not tied to your DNA. It's like MLB allows only Pennzoil but not Mobil 1 Synthetic in players bodies

Reddick is going to be a solid player for years to come IMO. I think the A's are thinking a David Murphy type player. Inexpensive with a bit of pop.

Alacantra had a tough year last year but was dominant in single A. Very young kid with potential. I agree that Red Sox made out better in the deal though.

Reddick isn't a loss. He's a 4th outfielder, at best.

Bailey's arm could fall off any day now, but well worth the risk. If healthy, he'll be comparable to Papelbon for the next 2-3 years for a fraction of the price.

Bard surely in the rotation now. Still need to add at least one more starter. Kuroda would be nice.
