yeah in my head I thought it was a joke because I thought he pitched yesterday...AND he wouldn't be eligible since he wasn't on the roster before the deadline... but now I see its not officially a "playoff" game, so they could rent him for one game...

I Imagine that has never happened in MLB history, would be super cool..

and let's say it happened. and Chen won, and Bosox went on to win the WS

I bet Chen would get the full WS share as voted by the players...

Welcome to the Miami Marlins, Jose Reyes

Congrats my friend but it won't be enough to overtake the Phillies for the division unless............ oh no!

1980+Topps+Albert+Pujols+Miami+Marlins.png

PS If they get Albert too be careful of not playing the Marlins too often as a RL fav! With a lineup like that for Miami the -1.5 bug will bite you like it got me with the Phils! Just don't press confirm bet!

Mr. Monkey were rarely on the -1.5

We don't want them to sign Albert because the back end of that contract would be all kinds of bad but it would allow them to trade Gaby Sanchez AND Logan Morrison which would then allow them to sign Gio Gonzalez and that would make the 2012 Miami Marlins the favorite to win the NL East sir.

Norman Braman, LOL, Philly knows him all too well! Might be a shady deal involved here but he's the guy who kept saying his Eagles were not making a single cent and in court when he had to open the books it said the Birds made 7.5M that year!

Norm's still upset that the Birds are now worth 1 billion! You bought the team for 65M and sold it for 185M! Be happy! At least he didn't get involved in the player personnel stuff like the fantasy type ownership we have now!
