I spent yesterday talking to current and former League Baseball players about the magnitude of the Tampa Bay Rays come from behind win. They all said we witnessed history. There has never been a comeback like that, with so much on the line, in the history of the game.
BUT then they stopped talking about the game and started talking about life.
One retired 15 year pro called the Rays "The Little Engine that Could." He said this should teach children not to give up. There's always a chance.
Another said, "In this economy, with so many people out of work, this should send a message about perseverance. Keep plugging away. Don't give up. Things will work out if you work hard enough."
Thank you Tampa Bay Rays for reminding all of us if we want something badly enough and work hard enough, our dreams can come true.
How so Kato?
Hey that rhymes. HOWSOKATO??
