The gamelive originals - who's left?

There is a lot of truth to that. I wouldn't use the word better, but different. There are people who are very intelligent and have very well developed senses of humor. They don't ask for it; that's just how it is and they have no choice. It is not as easy as other people might imagine for people like that to find each other. But we have each other at gamelive.

And then there are very normal simple people who can be happy blathering empty smalltalk at each other forever. It is the most common thing in the world. That's the huge majority.

That's fine but it is, as I said earlier, what I come to gamelive to get the fuck away from.

So now we have the forum becoming increasingly dominated by that kind of thing. That's what sucks for me. It is the kind of talk that can take place literally anywhere; the world is full of people who want to join you in your bland smalltalk. Go anywhere. Want to post sports picks with it? There are dozens of forums specifically dedicated to it.

It sucks that people who could go a million places and be welcomed, have to squat and take a shit all over the one place that is a bit different and has a spark of originality.

But that's what people do - and aren't even perceptive enough to know they are doing it. That is my life experience.

Believe me, I know every simple-minded thought that people are having right now. Hey if you see a thread you don't like, just don't open it. Sure. And if they put a big pink billboard for a sex shop blocking your house, just ignore it. No one is making you look at it.

I like him too and wouldn't and haven't accused him of anything.

There are always two sides to a story and I reserve judgement until I hear both sides.

I was always skeptical that it was a straight up stiff job, and more than likely it was a deal that fell through or something else that went bad. Shit happens.

Usually the person on the short end makes the most noise, but we haven't heard any details and those that know don't seem to want to share so I cant have an opinion on the matter.

I'm surprised Ray is taking such a hard stance without knowing all the facts.

Innocent until proven guilty.


Perhaps we will eventually find out the real reason why Durito, Monkeyf0cker and Choo no longer post.

I like RJ also. There are a few things that don't add up. Blitty knows what's up here since he was the one who threw it on the forum. If I were accused of that, I would deny right from the start. There was more avoidance that made it appear that there was some truth. Not sure why rito felt the need to ghost.

I hope rito and whoever gets whatever money is coming to them.
 
I agree with Muddy. I have noticed that some people have more of a highbrow sense of humor (and I don't mean that in a negative way). It's just different from others. Not a bad thing. The world is full of a variety of people and this forum is not different in that regard.

Not to be mean but you have an idea what kind of thread it will be when you see who started it, no? Just don't open that thread. Better yet, just block them. I agree with many of your points btw, but you're coming off like the bitter old man yelling at the kids walking on your lawn. Give us some ideas of topics that you want to see. It's not hard, just start a thread and if I find it of interest, I'll add a thought.
 
I don't think I am one of the true originals. I played McB some in online poker and we got to chatting, then I saw something from Daffy about how I should be posting here.

I'm more of a true laminated copy or I at least like to think so. Definitely covered in plastic that's for sure.

No!! Well I mean people think they look kinda like them, but no. They are awesome!! Maybe the grocery store sells them in the frozen section? Their kind of rich in taste, IMO, some people say it retains a lobster like taste. Oh my gosh babe, you gotta try it! If you lived closer we'd have you over for dinner and I'd make you a dish with it, so so good.
