IMO the biggest issue here is the divisiveness, some people thinking they are better posters than others. If you see a story, think of a topic, you post it. All the petty comments and whining make me want to reach into the computer and Gibb smack you.


Now if you don't mind, I would appreciate an update on the sideburns.


And Plommer, don't ever think I won't hunt you down.

The beauty of a forum is there are many interests and we are not required to post in every thread. Maybe you should direct the question to Ray - he's the one who told me about the site. I joined because there were some good hockey people on here and not because of condensending threads worrying about the glory days of GL. THe glory days of GL were full of mundane threads also - but thats OK because it was you guys starting them. It was also full of posts about SBR - what about those glory days?

I sense a pattern MC. Things change, yet you dont. I remember some of my college days fondly, but those days are long gone. Perhaps you can bump threads and reminise or you can make some quality threads also. Also realize that any problems with GL has nothing to do with SP people coming over here.

good idea... give us simpletons an idea of what "quality"means to you, muddy... im sure we dont need for you to bump your "egg" "cheese" or "bread" threads though :wacko: ... the problem with you, is that unless you are the thread creator, you think most stuff is shit... it became pretty obvious, quite a while ago, that there are a few people that simply dont fit in here anymore... I think even you can see where im going with this.

I dunno Ray. I saw a "Can you touch your toes?" thread that he started a while back that was quite titillating.

It also seems these recent comments are about 2 months too late. I have started VERY few threads in two months. People seem to like House's banter. We like sports? We don't like sports? I can't keep up.

Nina is right about the divisiveness. The very fact that we are still referring to half the forum as "sp people" says it right there.

MC seemed to be a happier and less judgmental person when he was not working.
 
muddy is intelligent, but has the poorest personality and sense of humor here.... unfortunate, but true... it HAS to be about MUDDY or else, in his eyes, is irrelevant "poor quality" nonsense... i used to like the guy, but the constant "looking down" on others for no reason, is the kind of bullshit that i cant stand... look down on casper for being a lying shitbag stiff or look down on cali for fucking everything that will touch her, but dont look down on those who dont deserve it...

im sure a pompous rebuttal is coming my way

You were right on the money. Hell, I even tried to help him a week or two bck by linking the movies he was looking for in his "techy question" thread. I got kudos from Mr. X for helping, but completely ignored by Mudcat. That's just fucking rude.

He was my favorite person when I first came here. I feel like it was a bait and switch.

Bacon was right.

Please leave Muddy alone. He's just a negative an old fart. My guess is he's the type of person who doesn't like it when someone steals his thunder and if it does happen he gets defensive. Whatever. I certainly don't dislike the guy, but whatever.

I like most people on here even if they don't care for me. I can't control how they feel or think of me and I won't post in a style that would conform to their "ways." I'm sure some of my "Only in America" threads or my "Damn Frenchies" thread have rubbed people the wrong way, but whatever. They were mostly to get a chuckle out of some people and certainly not intended to piss people off. Kind off.
 
im not easily butt hurt... i get amused at you trying to ruffle my feathers... but that doesnt stop me from coming back at you when you show your ignorance...(like sticking up for someone who steals from other people on the forum)
