That weather thread felt like a new low. Kind of made me nostalgic for the days when we did more scintillating stuff like list foods and celebrate birthweeks.

What happened to SP forum anyway? Is it dead or just idle? Fire that shit up!

You are in a forum called Gamelive. You are posting in sub-forum Sports-Hooligan's Talk and you look at the thread titles from top to bottom and there is hardly anything sports related talk. And then you wonder why the same ducks keep posting all the time and no new posters come or old posters leave.

There really is nothing more boring than reading nostalgic threads by posters that haven't mattered here for three years now and pining for those days. If it were truly the best of times, more would have stuck around, agree?

SP basically died because of ownership problems. Sorry if the posters who came over bother anyone. They are all solid, all gamble, and people i consider friends.

I think that was the attraction here pavvy.

Sports talk is fine but I can only take so much and then it becomes boring. I hit that point a while ago.

I like to shoot the shit and laugh with the boys (and girls) and try to outcreep myself. It's all about having fun, and for me sports talk is not fun, it's boring. Just like watching horse racing without betting on it..... boooooring.

Is it more boring than wondering what happened to the good old days of GL for the last six weeks? Forums evolve, posters evolve. Shit happens, Doesn't mean I'm going to post all day wondering why the world changed while I'm doing nothing about it.

No, that's all stuff in your head. No one is doing any of that or wondering any of that. None of that resembles anything that's going on.

I would expect a visitor from Mars to come up with a more on-the-money observation of the situation.
 
I'm not wondering what happened to the good old days, I know what happened.

They came and went and this place was fun, now not so much, I don't blame the new posters.

I'll likely be posting much less in a couple weeks and probably for the summer and fall.

I gotta go back to work and that means long days and not alot of time for shenanigans.

Anyone here ever in the SE Saskatchewan area in the next 4 - 6 months let me know and I'll meetup.
