Teela, please help me understand how this guy was a dickhead. She admitted to being the one who developed feeling above and beyond what they agreed would be acceptable. She admitted several post back that she flipped out and she was immature.

He's a dickhead for not keeping the date this weekend? After what she said about the feelings and the flipping out and the immaturity isn't it reasonable he wouldn't want to see her right now? Sure he could have been adult enough to call and cancel but other than that where is the guy being a dickhead?

Do you really feel this way or is this like that Sisterhood thing kicking in?

Before you cock that foot I am not being sarcastic or an asshole, I am asking genuinely sincere question.
 
Wally, what part of a guy stringing a girl along that he knows has developed more than a "no strings attached" relationship is okay? Promising her things that he didn't plan on delivering on? Not following through with what he said he was going to do?

You know what, you're right. Let's contact the Vatican and check on a preemptive canonization of this guy.

I totally agree Teela. Sad thing is if you switch the gender in this situation, the girl is absolved because her rationale is justified by society and reality TV. As sleazy as this guy is, women have brought these situations upon themselves as of late.
 
Teela, if you have made it clear that it is what it is then the line has been defined.

She developed deeper feelings ok but seriously is that his fault. Sure if he were hinting at getting married down the road or if he was suggesting something more substantial then yeah, he's leading her on. She didn't say he was doing any of those things. Sure there were plans for trips and other stuff but he's getting sex with a younger girl and she's benefiting from his paying for stuff.

I guess this is another example of that book about Women Are From Venus Me Are From Mars. Maybe I'm wrong but I just don't see it based on what she has posted and even admitted within this thread.

He planned a trip with me to Jamaica, he talked about me meeting his daughter soon. i hadnt seen him for 3 weeks, it wasnt a one weekend thing. he told me a million things that would make anyone, even you, think that he loved me. DO NOT FUCKING START this threa d of you trying to act like a fucking DICK and make it seem like i'm some stupid little blonde. I swear to god Wally I will fucking flip. Cali, I am VERY sorry that this all happened with this guy. As much as I think Wally is a douche that deserves to be beaten to an inch if his life, his comments were more made for him to understand the female psyche. I think your situation is being used as a case study for what he wants to understand. It is going to be tough to post here about this topic without a comment or two that burns when you read it. Just know that the people that you appreciate reading are going to be there for you.
 
based on Wally's past posts and comments, i doubt that theory Casper. I want it to be true... but come on... it's Wally. He has a chip on his shoulder against me the size of texas.

Wally. if in fact you are just simply trying to figure it out, and didnt mean that in any way to be a against me (doubt it) then why don't you ask me. privately and I will go into much greater detail.
