Yeah, Nebraska and southern Sask are very much similar in terms of geography - northern Saskatchewan is much different, Canadian shield with lots of lakes and forests.

Holy Cow. I just looked it up on Google Earth and we are 1256 km apart from where I am heading. I thought it was much closer.

Goof luck in Estevan. I'm afraid you have to hang with some other Greeks there.

Pavy north America is a hugh continent pal, Sask is also quite massive in area.

Sadly there are no Greeks in Estevan as far as I'm aware. Most of the locals are derived from Ukrainian stock.

Ukrainians make great perogies but their souvlaki sucks!

no, I have a car and am a rare bird here as most if not all oilfield workers drive 4x4 pickup trucks or SUV's.

I am considering buying a pickup truck, looking at some Ford F-150 diesels.
