MrsM had this med revival spinach, artichoke & feta omelet w/ tomatoes and sun dried tomato fused olive oil with Bagel & cream cheese SG home fries



I had birkenstocker three scrambled eggs w/ peppers, onions, mushrooms, broccoli & spinach and grilled whole wheat pita



Enjoyed the white each sangria also and laid back working owner had a place in Chicago before coming here years ago! Exotic breakfast/lunch menu that if down in the area this year will visit at least twice weekly! Dishes all below $10 too if I recall correctly! Lovely quiet outside ambience and don't even realize you're right on the corner of the highway!

"Fish Tacos are Excellent"

We had a large group of 11 people, two families, eating, dancing, and enjoying the scenery. The food was great and the service was too. It's located on a beautiful beach where the kids can play in the water while waiting for the food. My favorite was the fish tacos with beans and rice, oh so tasty. I like the hot suce and I even bought some to take home.

Not that anyone will have the opportunity to visit these places, but will do reviews just in case they are in the area! Remember, food excites me!

Here we have the Casey Key Fish House in Osprey, FL (just south of Sarasota)! Nothing particular fancy looking bout the place but we're into good food over ambiance! Eating outside by the water for us always makes up for any surroundings that other may frown on! Was a no chance of rain cloudy day but we all know how a FLA bad weather day can be a good day in other areas!

Went there for lunch and MrsM had the snapper sandwich platter (10.99) while I had the grouper platter (11.99)! The fish was fresh and tasty and surprisingly the cole slaw in that tiny white contraption was one of the best we have had! Leah was a knowledgable and attentive server!

We also shared a bowl of the soup of the day which was some kind of gumbo chowder! Probably rate the quality along the lines of the homemade cole slaw! Peanut will attest to the big pieces of fish in it! Not much of a beer selection (I had 2) though at this place but MrsM's pina colada was not lacking alcohol for surel! Total bill came to like $45 without tip!

I recommend giving the place a try!

Very nice comments from all! Cami, the sandwich is fine with the fixings! FRESH fish is the key! MrsM didn't even eat the bun and went fish only cause she gets filled up easily! Peanut grabs anything left over! Will be trying a place called Woody's later today!

It's another by the water joint that I presume has predominantly seafood items! Peanut and I waiting in the car now while MrsM is shopping! Woody's less than 5 minutes away!
