Cami and I have decided to make a push for the terms contingent and in lieu. They're effective and cool sounding terms and we want them to be more mainstream.

On a semi-related note, today I've learned new uses for traffic light colors (red/yellow/green) in a business context. I had to sit in a meeting and look at a presentation that said, among other sleep-inducing things:

We're yellow on our YOY ROI targets.

I hate that I understand what that means. (Among other things, it means that I'm red on my year-end bonus. )
