I'm moving this week, like an idiot. I hate moving. I have a sore throat that I'm fairly certain is strep. I also have to do a half marathon on Saturday. Awesome timing for everything.

Some guy knocked on my door yesterday and claimed he was from the cable company. He came to get my cable box and modem. I gave him that and a check. Then, like the idiot I am (see the theme?), he tells me he needs a large check. I write the check and then realize that it wasn't how much the company said was due. I guess I'll be putting a stop payment on the check.

Who the fuck still writes cheques?

Teela, the 90's called, they want their cheques back.

I mean seriously, you can pay a taxi or pizza delivery guy via credit card or debit card as they are all setup for mobile transactions, should be the same with the cable company.

Plommer can't remember the last time he used a cheque. Even payroll is all direct deposit nowadays.

We are looking forward to the day when America catches up to the rest of the industrialized world.

It's about time you fukkers switched to the metric system too, the creator of the metric system figured out a way to dumb it down and the Yanks still haven't caught on.

Stevie do you know anything about condotels? Are they a bad idea/scam? The GF and I are sort-of-thinking of getting a unit in Montreal for when we visit, which we do a lot.

Don't have the first clue about real estate.

I do pay my rent with a chque.
 
Watched this mellow guy before on the PBS channel on occasion! Could use him now to try and relax a bit! RIP!

I don't Matty, just read up on them at Wikipedia though - what I wasn't surprised to see is the US Government with a problem with them just like anything else.
