The Fuck?!?

The Effect of Points

If your point total reaches 11 points or more based on the calculation described above, the DMV notifies you and suspends your driver license. You can request a DMV hearing only to show that a different person committed the violations. You cannot request a DMV hearing to prove that you were not guilty of the violations. You cannot request a DMV hearing to request a waiver of the suspension.

Insurance Company Points and Out-of-State Violations

Insurance companies have point systems that are different from the DMV driver violation point system. The two point systems are not related. Contact your insurance company about their point system.

Except for Ontario and Quebec, points are not added to your NYS driver record if you commit an out-of-state traffic violation. Points can appear on your NYS driver record if you commit a traffic violation in Ontario or Quebec.

Well the dentist, when she was giving me my post-extraction instructions, said I should stick with cool and soft foods today. She specifically said, "If you like ice cream, this is the day to go to town."

Okay, doctor's orders . . .

I must admit I am surprised at them scrapping the infection out. When that happened to me, it literally looked I had a golf ball in my mouth...they gave me antibiotics first, then took the tooth. They gave me THREE shots of Novocaine and I could still feel all of it.
I'm glad you got it taken care of Muddy. :)

Yep, the province of Ontario has reciprocal agreements with both New York State and Michigan regarding traffic tickets/fines.

Ontario drivers ticketed in NY & MI will see those infractions on their Ontario drivers abstract.

As a matter of fact the private operator of the 407 toll road in Ontario also has agreements with those states to provide registration info on the MI/NY plated vehicles that travel on the toll road so they can be billed.

Yes, thats correct, the states of Michigan and New York are sending the registration information of vehicles registered in these states to a foreign business so they may collect unpaid tolls.

Whats interesting about this is that none of the other Canadian provinces will release registration info to the 407 toll corporation so they can collect, and rightfully so.

I used to make a point of driving on the 407 with my Saskatchewan plated vehicle because I knew Saskatchewan would tell the 407 to go fuck itself if they asked for personal information on Sask registered vehicles.

I've never received a bill from the 407 for the hundreds of trips I made on the toll road in my Sask plated car.

PS: The 407 toll road is owned by a Spanish corporation, not a Canadian one.

Here's something that just occurred to me that I think is odd. As mentioned, I had a tooth extracted yesterday, and also a gum cut into with a scalpel which was then scraped and sutured.

There has been no pain.

The dentist warned me about extreme pain and told me about analgesics I could take in combination and she assured me they would not react badly with each other and I could take the big combo of pills 4 times a day no problem.

There has been no pain whatsoever.

The only pain was right after the extraction while my mouth was still frozen, I was told to bite down on some gauze to apply pressure for an hour. There was a slight ache to that after awhile. But that was it. The freezing eventually wore off ---> nothing.

That was a full day ago ---> still nothing.

Seems so strange, I almost feel like I should go to a doctor about this absence of pain. Is my face dead or something?

:dunno:
