Random thoughts

I happened to pop in to a different grocery store the other day and I got to thinking about jalapeno chips. Years ago, my grocery store had some great jalapeno chips. Maine Coast. It was a beautiful clean jalapeno chip.

But they stopped selling them and the only jalapenos they had was Miss Vickies. It is not a terrible chip but they weren't as clean. It was like they had been dragged around some.

They also had some jalapeno and cheddar chips. I think they are Old Dutch. I can buy them once in awhile but they never fit in the regular rotation. It's an outsider chip.

I hoped the different grocery store might have Maine Coast but no dice. What they did have though was Pringles. Pringles jalapeno. I am always suspicious of Pringles chips. I have seldom bought any kind of Pringles chips in my life. They aren't like real chips. I never feel sure they are made from potatoes. I keep expecting to hear some day they are actually made from reprocessed tree bark.

I tell you what though: the Pringles jalapeno aren't half bad. It's like a toy chip, but it tastes okay.

Pringles are not technically chips.

That's what I was getting at.

There are some other jalapenos available at my regular store but they're like puffy chips. I don't know what they are. They puff out. I don't know if they're even pretending to be potatoes. Some kind of puff chips.

I know - I'm not making sense. I'll take a closer look next time I'm in there and see what exactly.

I know what I'm talking about but I don't know what I'm talking about.

There is a lil' Matty on the way. :guitar:

I took a handful of readings this morning. I typically score between 140 and 150 over 100, but this morning I was at 128/89. Guess the new meds are working. :dunno:

I gave up hard liquor for the foreseeable future. (It's right there on a shelf in case of an emergency though.)

:boxcleanersdaddy:

good to hear.. got my BP somewhat almost under control w/ free meds thanks to a regular client that happens to be a doctor.
now if I could just remember to take meds every day it might level out to slightly higher then ideal #s.
but... I never take meds as prescribed, no matter if its antibiotics, BP meds, SSRIs, etc..

my BP excesses I concluded are/were correlated to personal lifestyle choices w/ a sprinkle of stress, and the daily being on verge of case of " gonna lose my cookies and go ape shit" with the weight of 1 more straw on the camels back.

averaging round bout 150s/100s recently compared to 165s/112s

Jan 4. Don't know the sex yet, we'll know later this month. :guitar: Louis for a boy, Mathilde for a girl.

I don't think I'll insist on anything, but I'll certainly enable the kid to whatever he/she shows an interest in. And he/she'll play hockey if desired - Mommy Rain couldn't afford hockey for her two twins and Daddy Rain was unemployed back then. Fokkers.

I'd be surprised if the kid didn't pick up guitar, but what the fok do I know. :dunno:

Now thinking maybe Maurice for a boy to remind him of his working-class Frenchie roots (and predispose him to a HOF career in the NHL so his Dad can retire a rich fat fok. :stevie:)

will you watch the birth?
as in actually looking at the miracle of disgust when that poon tang balloons to ungodly proportions and a creature resembling alien slips out???

me neither... I stood behind her

I have absolutely no interest in watching the woman's overstretched vajayjay or in cutting the umbilical cord. Just hand me the final cleaned-up product, thank you very much.

MrM the woman doesn't like Maurice, says it sounds odd to English-speakers. :dunno:
