Thanks!! :buddy:

Well I'm not sure it's a promotion, but it's something! A step in the right direction! Business is so bad right now, so I am tapping into things like craigslist, and youtube to use for advertising to get people to call in. I hope it works, we'll find out in a few weeks.

Tomorrow is indeed hump day. Will you be doing any humping?

I need to buy some rum and tequila and vodka. I have all this other random stuff in the liquor cabinet, but lack the liquors to make it complete...I think I might buy a bottle or two next trip to the spirit store.

Where's your couch matty?

We're lying on it as we type this.

Here's what bugged me in Season 2 of The Wire. Nothing to do with the quality of the show - I'm sure it was an accurate portrayal of reality. But all the union guys working on the docks - the Stevedores - were constantly lamenting how their business and their union is dying. The number of boats coming into Baltimore Port is dropping year by year. Again, I don't doubt that's true.

I don't know if I was supposed to feel sorry for them but they sure did feel sorry for themselves. There were impassioned speeches about how fathers could no longer count on passing down the tradition to their son. Guys without seniority crying how they could only get a few days of work per week. But they just kept hanging around.

Everyone acting like they are victims when they get involved in criminal activity.

Fuck you. So you can't have one specific exact job and you have no choice but to mope around for the rest of your life?

Go get another job somewhere else. It's what people have to do sometimes. Industries rise and fall.

You move around freight for a living. You lift boxes and you carry them somewhere and you put them down. Those are transferable skills. Just go get a job.
