Paper or plastic?

i dont give a shit, just give me my groceries.

This is a weird one for me. I can't remember ever being asked if I wanted paper or plastic. I have many times seen references to people being given the choice, "Paper or plastic," - so I assume it must go on - but it seems to have bypassed my existence.

Are people really being asked, "Paper or plastic?" I guess so. Either that or everyone has been playing with my head this whole time, but that just seems so elaborate.

Muddy, always asked it at the supermarket! I tell them I want paper inside the plastic.

See, I buy lots of items in the hand basket but when leaving hate when they give you lots of plastic bags with a few items in each. Only have 2 hands.

More support in holding plenty of items in 1+1=2 bags. Easier to carry out.

MrMonkey you're killing the planet. Get some reusable bags.

Fucking hicks.

I think it is a law here now that stores have to charge for plastic. The idea is to be more earth-friendly and cut down on plastic and have people switch to reusable bags. It is working. I almost always bring my canvas bags when I go to the store. Chicky-poo does the same and so do most people you see.

I imagine the number of plastic bags being used is being reduced by some ungodly number. Billions per year?? It wouldn't surprise me. It's a good thing.

Canada is trying not to be a lummox.

Funny thing is, the 5 cents does make a difference. I have heard people bitch and moan about it. I think some people get so caught up in their principles they lose sight of the fact they are talking about a fucking nickel.

Nevermind how gay their principles are to begin with.
