I don't know why I am so involved in an apple discussion really. They're okay but I don't love apples and only eat them if I am more-or-less dieting. I probably average 5 apples a month. If someone gave me a better option of something that was comparable in calories and fillingness but I liked the eating experience just a bit better, I might never eat an apple again.

Eating an apple is more like a chore to me than a snack to look forward to. But still, make the best of it.
 
i'm still bitter over my "apple picking" experience this fall. The hot spring and dry summer really focked the midwest up

My go-to snack is a DQ Blizzard or a big bowl of potato chips or something very chocolate like Bridge Mixture or Dark Chocolate covered cranberries.

I generally have one of those every night. Sometimes 2.


As a result of that (and some dinner related factors) my weight is always naturally edging upwards.



So every once in awhile, because I don't want to be 10 million pounds, I need a few low-cal days. That's when I have apples.
 
Laugh if you must but my overall system keeps me pretty fit looking, some would say thin these days.




Speaking of big bowl of potato chips, I spied an untried variety at the store and bought a bag.

Maple Bacon flavor.

Now I love maple bacon - gawd knows I love it - but chips?


I'll try 'em out with my chicken wings for dinner.
