Oh shit.

Looks like I accidentally bought light peanut butter on my last trip to the store. I hope it's okay. I always get regular.

I'm not happy. I'm afraid it's going to be wimpy peanut butter. Checking the stats, I don't really care about any of the stuff that's different. My weight is not a problem so I don't care about a few less calories and percentage points of fat. I have high cholesterol but both types show 0 mg cholesterol so no issue there.

The light peanut butter actually has more carbohydrates than the regular - 2% versus 1%. What's up with that? I don't know.

I mostly just care about the taste. I am a quality-of-life type of guy. We all make deliciousness versus health consciousness decisions all the time - and I lean towards deliciousness in this case. Even if the regular peanut butter had more cholesterol than the light, I would still go with the regular. That's how I roll.

I enjoy my peanut butter on raisin toast several mornings a week. I really enjoy it.

Well, I still have a bit left in the open jar of the regular. I'll finish that before I open the new jar. That's also how I roll.

I just hope and pray the light peanut butter is okay and not wimpy. I will report back to the forum.
 
At least I won't die full of regret because I always went for "light" products instead of enjoying the full richness of "regular" products.

I will have some regret because I occasionally got the light product by mistake - but I will know my heart was pure.

I just won't have anyone to talk to about it.
