Sweet! I had 4 weeks per year after 10 years but I topped out there...do you have a limit and can it roll over? Is that pure "vacation" time or PTO-paid time off which includes sick time etc...

Yeah it maxes out at 6 weeks after 10 years. I'll hit 5 years this October.

It's 20 vacation days plus 2 "personal days" that are typically used when you have a last-minute emergency type of thing. 5 vacation days can be rolled over to the next year but those 5 HAVE to be taken the following year. No stashing vacation days by depressed workaholics.

Sick days are separate, I believe we get 10 after which disability kicks in. Not entirely sure. I was sick for several weeks in 2012 and my boss just never put in a disability claim, just waited for me to come back.

Guess not much has changed in the last 73 years.


Am I the only one who eats pistachios and puts the shelled ones back in the same container as the unshelled so you have to poke around to find the unopened ones like digging thru a Cracker Jack box for a prize? I've always done that and never really thought about it...but I think that's probably not what most people do.
