Another thing: in hearing people talk about cramps, they do not always seem to be talking about the same thing.

Much like when people talk about the flu. Which reminds me, I may never have had the flu. But one thing I feel sure of: the majority of times that people say they have the flu, they don't have the flu.

People like to dramatize. It's like the wind chill factor and the humidex. If they just say the temperature, they don't feel they are conveying enough suffering.

Therefore they got a cold ---> it's the flu.

I'm with you on the flu thing, Muddy, but a cramp is a pretty specific thing. I don't notice anyone claiming false cramps.

And you're really not in a position to hold opinions about people's cramps, are you?

The only 2 cramps I'm aware of are agonizing muscle cramps like I described before and cramps that women get in their stomach(?) when they're on their period.

*I don't know how those feel.

That would be our uterus, not stomach. How they feel....you ever get the runs, and your lower abdomen hurts sooooo bad?? Like that.

im a little shocked that muddy never had/has leg cramps at all.. i thought he rode a bike quite frequently :dunno:

i get cramps in my feet and calves a day or two after working calves and sometimes hamstrings... but the major cramps come from back pumps after back workouts...makes it impossible to get decent sleep when you have to roll over constantly

So I was more conscious of reducing my water consumption the final hour before bed last evening and ---> the number of overnight get-up-and-pees ---> zero.

I know it's a small sample but it seems possible my peeing is directly related to my fluid intake.

I will continue to monitor it.
