Without getting into the issue of shaking Polaroid photos and did that actually do anything or was it just an idiotic mannerism of nervous/impatient people - because I have heard that case made - how is that the example of things being better in the good old days. Is 1990 the optimum time for the good old days? I bet if this was 1990 you'd be singing about how great things were when we mixed our own chemicals and developed our own film in the good old days. And if this was 1938, you'd be lamenting how we didn't used to need photos in the good old days; we would use our memories and imaginations.

That article applies mostly to clubs IMO. I enjoy a good old-fashioned bar that doesn't turn into a club after 10pm.

I actively dislike clubs.
