There is something wrong with me that makes me wait until the very last minute to do something lately. I am having my dad's cousin over for lunch to visit with mom. I have to go to shower, go to the store, prepare lunch, and help Lori with the house. I am laying in bed typing on GL. Stuck.
This is not just a case of being lazy....maybe it's because I'm not looking forward to this. I dunno. Weird.

I was thinking about that this week, that every day I'm at the casinos I vaguely expect someone someone to shoot up the place, and it never happens.

I came to the conclusion that people don't do it, because they know they won't be able to come back to the casino to gamble again.
 
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh see post 2 up....Get everything done...Pick up the "fancy" chicken salad, croissants, fresh cut fruit bowl, fresh flowers etc.

Lori busts her ass to clean kitchen, bathrooms etc..(this is not her usual day) Go to pick up guest and she is sitting at the assisted living eating lunch..She waves me over and says "Oh was this the day?" I am befuddled. I called and confirmed yesterday and she said "oh yes, I was planning on it. I'll be ready." The waitress/server says "well she just started, she can go" but would be guest makes no overture of leaving.

I'm so fucking pissed. I planned this 2 weeks ago and had gotten mom "up" for company. I didn't want to do it in the first place, but felt obligated as we had not seen her in a while.

People suck. She may have legitimately forgotten, but she could have offered to go once I was there.

I need a pissed off smiley.
