Random thoughts

I have to say, living where I live now I get flyers for like 5 or 6 different grocers that are all within walking distance. Even Rabba, believe it or not will have sales on chicken for instance.

Seriously this is cool and smart Fiver! We always look in flyers before going shopping with a game plan in mind! I mean one market close stopped sending them so they don't even get us in the door!

A can of tuna is 79 cents, people.

yeah, eat a handful of cans a day and let us know how you feel after a week....

interesting you mention tuna though.... i went to the correctional facility this morning to visit a good buddy of mine who is doing 75days in minimum security... he gets a menu of shit that he can order if he has the money... i guess most min secure. places allow this.. they call it their commissary... anyways, he said he was trying to keep his protein at decent levels while being there and was eating 3-4 cans of tuna day.. he did this during weeks 2-5 and then got ridiculously ill and spent 3 days in the medical center... everyone will react different to the levels of mercury, but a can or two a day for any extended period of time will most likely fuck you up :tully:

Milk is expensive in Canada because the dairy industry here is a planned economy like some socialist hell hole.

When my sister in law moved back to the USA with her daughters one of the first things they noticed was how different the American milk tasted to them, they thought the milk was bad when they first drank it. Sister in law commented that she was aware of the fact that American farmers use growth hormones in their cows while Canadian farmers are not allowed to do so.

American milk is cheaper, as is cheese. My Aunt in Niagara Falls grocery shops exclusively in the USA weekly but no longer buys US milk, they don't like the taste.

I used to drink a lot of milk growing up. I don't drink at all now. I use almond milk with cereal and that's the only time I drink "milk".
