I remember when the Raptors got off to their great start a lot of people were trying to dazzle the sports world by showing off their mature worldly view.

"These are not Jordan's Chicago Bulls. They are not going to win 70 games. They are a very good team and possibly a great team - obviously they will win 55 - but we shouldn't get our hopes up beyond that."

And that talk continued well into he season. There were little bumps and people were saying, "This was bound to happen. Guaranteed they will get their 55 but anyone who was expecting more than that was not being realistic.

Meanwhile I was thinking, '55? The season started with a heavy dose of home games against terrible teams. They will have to go on the road and play everyone. 55 is a lot of wins. Really? That many wins is an obvious guarantee?"



Well they ain't on no pace for no 55 wins now.
 
Heard a radio interview with Rex Ryan on the way in to work today.

Rex Ryan of MY Buffalo Bills.

Good interview. It actually contained what I believe was a bit of a scoop. He was talking about how Percy Harvin has been talking to the Bills the last couple days - which was common knowledge - but then he said, "Unfortunately, he's heading off now to talk to the Patriots." Which, as I say, is information which I don't think was out there.

My hated division rival, the New England Patriots.

Hopefully he ends up with my Bills.
