There used to be two WR's with the same name - the one still active on balt and was on Carolina. The other one was a 1st rounder a few years ago on the Giants, flamed out.

Guy Lafleur was in court today because he is suing the Montreal police. The guy was a boyhood hero of mine but from what I have heard about this, it sounds stupid and I kinda hope they toss him out on his ass and bill him for any court expenses.

Yeah based on what I heard (which, admittedly is just an overview) I kinda feel like Guy has gotten his nose out of joint and expects to be treated like a princess where there is a lot of room to just say, "Okay, let's look at it from their point of view."

Disagree in principle with your treatment if you must. There is no way to make everybody happy in every policing situation. But a lawsuit?

In the Canadian Football League, pass interference is challengeable/reviewable

I get why they don't. One way to limit some obvious problems is don't have All star crews. Reward the best season-long crews only. One of the refs in the Dallas game yesterday officiated 3 college games last week. Make these guys full time.

I haven't heard anyone say that the rule that went against the Dez Bryant catch shouldn't be changed. Smart people, stupid people, NFL fanatics and casual viewers ---> everyone agrees, it should have been a catch.

I have not read the rule and do not fully understand it but people I consider intelligent have left me convinced it was applied correctly.

So change the stupid rule.

I like the old rule that if any part of the ball touches the ground it's incomplete. But I don't care for the part about a football move. If he had control before hitting ground it should be complete.
