Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, John Smoltz and Craig Biggio elected to the baseball Hall of Fame.

I got no strenuous argument with any of that. Without doing any in-depth study, I doubt I would have voted for Biggio but some people get goofy about 3000 hits no matter what.

I'm a little puzzled what the problem is with Mike Piazza. I would definitely vote for him based on where his numbers stand all-time for catchers. I have not heard anything compelling relating to steroids if that is the problem. No doubt that is what has Clemens and Bonds still getting less than 40% of votes.

:dunno:

Voting against Clemens and Bonds is stupid.

I don't disagree. I kind of enjoy what's happening just on basic screw-those-knobs principle - but the sense is not there.

I'll tell you what I think is really stupid: voting against Randy Johnson. And Babe Ruth. And Ted Williams and Hank Aaron and Greg Maddux and Willie Mays.

There has still not been a unanimous first-time selection to the HOF. There always has to be some tool with a vote who makes it about themself and some ghey little cause in their head rather than what makes sense.

Bonds' appearance comes into play. It shouldn't because if you did rroids then well, that's what happened, but it does; the before and after pics are ridiculous.

Clemens I don't get as much. I can definitely say that he is easily the best pitcher for the longest time I have ever seen.

Pretty sure he's a complete fucking asshole, as well.

I heard someone on the radio say something interesting about piazza and roids... They said, gun to your head, you die if you're wrong - did Mike Piazza ever take a PED as a player? Same question for Derek Jeter?

Like many I'd answer "yes" and "no" respectively. I'm not a "keep them out" guy for even proven users, but the simple exercise made me think.
