Yes, a crappy team from the NFC south is going to make the playoffs while teams with a better record will miss out. I don't want to hear any whining about it.

If they threw out divisions and just lined the whole conference up by record so this wouldn't happen, people would whine that we lose the significance of division rivalries. And as a matter of fact, those whiners would be correct. Having those division rivalries is more important than what is lost by leaving whatever marginal team out of a wildcard spot.

Things are right the way they are.

That is all.

I already whined about that a long time ago. Although I didn't whine about the division rivalry thing, since I'm not positive the issues have anything to do with one another. I just want to see the best teams in the playoffs, and I'm pretty sure Falcons or Panthers are not gonna make that list.

More importantly, why is Tom Brady playing today?

The NFL solution is wanting to add 2 more teams to the playoffs next year. I guess they don't realize that you are increasing the chance of more crappy teams making the playoffs.

The problem can be solved by crappy division winners making the playoffs but allowing the teams with better records host playoff games.

I have no NFL team for these playoffs. Not even a gut feeling for a bandwagon to jump on.

Last couple years I was on the 49ers, but I wasn't feeling that at all this season and even if they had made the playoffs ---> I doubt it.

I usually enjoy watching Peyton Manning play - so I want him to win and keep playing - but I'm feeling that less than usual right now.

I got nothing.

I grew up a Dallas fan but that went out the window for various reasons a long time ago. If Toronto ever got a team, I would probably be a fan of that, otherwise it's just whatever whim-of-the-moment grabs me.

Definitely not feeling Dallas right now.
