Best way to consume Nutella

1. Spread an even 5mm (0.2") thick layer of Nutella on the cheapest, whitest sliced bread you can buy.
2. Fold the slice of bread in half, along its vertical axis.
3. Take a bite and witness the Nutella bulge out of the area you just chewed off.
4. Work your way either around the crust or go directly for the soft center part across from the crust.

Well okay, I broke off a few chunks and tried it out.

No but seriously man, I gotta be honest: I was expecting something more revolutionary. It's okay. It's good
I reckon.

Was not knocked off my seat or anything though.

Doubt I would buy it again. Mind you, I've got a pretty large jar here which will last for a good long time. Maybe it will have a grow-on-me effect.

I am having some Nutella on raisin toast RIGHT NOW.

It's good.

It was part of my get-out-of-bed bargaining this morning. I do that sometimes. When it's Saturday morning and I can theoretically lie in bed forever and I am so damn comfortable, sometimes I start making little mental lists of the wonderful reasons to get out of bed.

I can have coffee with fancy shmancy creamer - that will be delicious - I can make all kinds of progress on my music - that will feel good - I can do some smack - that's fun.

And this morning: I can have some Nutella on toast.

I guess it's growing on me.

And see, I am going the other direction. I haven't been eating it, but been giving it to mom on her toast in the morning....but I usually wipe the knife off and get a taste when I do so. I don't love it enough to justify that kind of caloric intake in the morning.

I think my favorite way to eat it was on saltine crackers back when I was trying it out.

I maintain that peanut butter is a superior nut butter. More protein that sticks with you and I believe it has a better taste - nuttiness not sweetness. Maybe it's simply a product of our upbringing... but i'd like to think I was brought up right while the Nutella people are somehow the weirdoes.

One is a healthy snack and one is a dessert.

Two completely different things.
