Lincoln - Very fascinating movie to me. It was intriguing to see the political strategies that Lincoln employed and the contentious proceedings in Congress in that era. Daniel Day Lewis was incredible in this movie. The likeness to Lincoln was almost disturbing. And Tommy Lee Jones played a remarkable Thaddeus Stevens. If you're looking for a lot of action in a movie, look elsewhere. But if you want a solid, historical account of a great leader, watch this movie. 9 F0cks.

Gangster Squad - So many borrowed themes in this movie. Maybe I've seen too many gangster movies. But there is some decent comedy within it. There were some serious plot flaws though. Like, "how did they know to go there?" types of things. There's also something about Sean Penn playing a mob boss that just doesn't seem to fit. I probably won't watch it again. 5 F0cks.

Watched "Goon" last night while Steves was passed out on my lap. I really liked it. I never watched Hockey before I met Steven, and so seeing it from a hockey players perspective was truly awesome and gave me a new appreciation for the game. At the end of the movie there were clips of real games and I noted this is based on a real person.

I also watched Peace, Love, and Misunderstanding Not a bad movie about a women going through divorce and her two kids, and them returning "home" to where just about every one are hippies, and falling in love, so basically, total chick flick. Not bad, reminded me of Robyn a little bit.

Goon was great! Well done cami.

Argo was just meh. What's with the latest journalistic-cinema trend? I like how they recreated the aethetics of 1980, but that's aboat it. They shoulda spent more time showing and explaining Iran's anger - it started off good but it quickly reverted to caricaturing Iranians as a bunch of wild bearded boars with guns. 6 Matty Rains

It's funny because she's fat

She actually has a TV show which has been running for awhile. It's on my ever-growing list of series that lasted multiple seasons without me ever seeing a second of them (King of Queens, Caroline in the City, Just Shoot Me, According to Jim etc. etc.)

But maybe she really is funny. No idea.

Definitely fat.

Actually what I did see her on was Gilmore Girls. I had an odd inexplicable period of watching that as a guilty pleasure. Well it was a shared thing between my sister and me for a little while. Don't judge me too harshly.

I don't recall her as being strikingly funny. She just delivered her lines in a fat way.
