Now you have said this, I believe, in response to my comment about downloading trubbles. However I see this on the tunnelbear site:

Unfortunately TunnelBear does not currently support the use of BitTorrent

TunnelBear does not support the use of our software to spam, violate copyright, share pirated software, unlicensed audiovisual material, or to access illegal content.

So what gives brah?

i think they put that cover their ass

:clueless:

So now that sounds like you're saying I could use it anyway. But going further along that bit I quoted from the FAQ's, it says this:

Although we realize that BitTorrnet can be used for totally legal purposes, due to a high volume of complaints from content providers, TunnelBear was put in the unfortunate position of making a choice between two options:

The first option (which most VPN providers choose) is to begin logging user activity. TunnelBear is very strongly against monitoring and tracking user activity as most of our customers use TunnelBear explicitly to browse online privately. As such, this was not a viable option.

The second option (which TunnelBear has chosen) is to disable BitTorrent ports. While we philosophically dislike blocking anything, we prefer this option to being forced to collect information about our users.

To be clear, TunnelBear will never log session related information about our customers. For more information take a look at our Privacy Policy

I don't understand what is going on with Star Wars. Some people are excited about a movie which is coming out soon - which is called Star Wars Something - and it seems like it's a real movie - it's got chicky-poo who was in other real movies - and other people who are real people - and they're in this movie with Star Wars in the name.

Facebook people that I know to be goofy about Star Wars are being goofy about it.

But I get the feeling it is not actually Star Wars.

But it's a movie with Star Wars in the name.

But it might not be Star Wars if you see what I mean.

I think the Star Wars movie (Rogue One) sounds good. We all know that the Rebels destroyed the Deathstar by shooting photon torpedeos down the exhaust shaft in A New Hope (Episode IV). During the briefing on Yavin IV we learn that the Rebels knew this was the ONE weakness of the Deathstar by examining the building plans. BUT WHERE DID THEY GET THOSE PLANS?!?! The Rogue One story is about the group of Rebel Special Forces that managed to secure the plans.

There's a million and one stories (existing or not) like this that could be developed into a standalone movie. That's why Disney is the right owner of the Star Wars franchise. I don't think the core movies will ever get lost among the obvious piles of cash-grab add-ons... and as long as they continue to throw money at the add-ons they will at least be watchable. I'm excited.

The show uses the same sort of mystery and ambiguity about its characters. The same kind of cruel villain. The same isolated setting that's not quite part of the regular world.

Westworld's maze is Lost's hatch (remember that?)

I will watch the season finale but I'm 50% turned off the show already. JJ Abrams can suck my dick.

It was quite eventful.

I was a little confused about elements of the Maeve narrative. *spoiler alert* I liked the reveal that everything she was doing was scripted - "Escape" - while she thought it was her own free will - but I kind of needed there to be a guest that it was being performed for. Like why do it otherwise? Like maybe that Asian guy was going to end up having been a guest or something.

:dunno:

Anyway overall I enjoyed the season and found a good mix of concepts and artistry.

Now I imagine we have to wait a year for season 2.

Did you notice that Maeve goes off-script at the end? In the narrative that Bernard reads to her, she's supposed to stay on the train and reach the mainland. Maeve's like fok that and steps off the train.

Fokkin robot free will yo.
