Thing that pisses me off relating to movies/TV part 2:

When they interview actors and ask questions like they are their characters. Like did they enjoy kicking ass (if their character happens to kick ass) or were they jealous of other actors whose characters got to use superpowers while their character was more sitting behind a desk OR WHATEVER.

Like the actors were really doing what happens in the movie and not just spending vast amounts of time sitting in a trailer waiting for their brief little bits of carefully directed work.

Rewatched the first 2 episodes of The Knick. Damn that was such a fine show.

I am speaking in past tense; I don't know if they have officially ruled out the possibility of more - but it would basically have to be a whole new show with the way it ended plus some key creative people declaring they are out, most notably Soderbergh.

Excellent show in any case.

There is quite a bit of added depth watching it a second time. I don't know if I will go ahead and rewatch the whole thing now - I just wanted to introduce it to Jenny - who loves it - particularly the gory surgery bits - she just keeps stuffing her face with Chinese food and watching the blood flow and splatter. Nutty, horrible woman.

I usually like to wait 5+ years before I do a rewatch but now, even though it just ended last year I think, I might be hooked in.
 
Ugh. Double post. Okay here's a question while I'm here:

Did we figure out if J-L's mom is in the closing credits of the Corner Gas movie? I happened to see that again - and there is someone who resembles her - but I wouldn't swear to it.
