Well, you kind of have to know the show. If a human clone is transgendered, the writers are essentially saying that gay/transgender identities come from environment and conditioning rather than genetics and hormones. Yah. Still looking forward to S2 but it seems like one of those shows where all the thought and planning went into the pilot, then they just make it up as they go. The pilot was among the best I've ever seen.

I want to love everything about Vinyl, but it is a tough show to binge.

It feels like I'm forcing the episodes and not that interested into starting new ones.

Yeah I rated the season 5.4/10

I was a lot closer to dumping it than wishing I could binge on it for most of the time - but it got a bit better at the end so I will at least start season 2.

Disappointment though. I had high hopes.

There were many mistakes but to me the biggest was trying too hard to make all the characters realistic - i.e. flawed. It's okay in theory but a viewer still needs to care about someone and I didn't care about anyone. They were mostly a big bunch of choads and I would be just as happy to see them fail as succeed.
