The most recent episode of Shameless was strong as hell. That scene with Fiona and Debs was, like, wow.

Kinda glad they got rid of the Joan Cusack character. I generally like Joan Cusack but that particular character was a little too comic bookish for me.

However they did leave the possibility of her coming back and I would bet she will at some point.

The question is will cancer chicky that swam off return..?

I watched the movie Vanilla Sky in about 6 sittings over the last week.

So-so movie. I'll tell you what really surprised me though: that it was a Cameron Crowe film.

Vanilla Sky as a Cameron Crowe joint does not fit in with my world view at all.

Just tried watching Shameless. Got hallway through episode 2.
Too hectic, pointless, unrealistic, disgusting ...otherwise a fine piece of work and reflection of current pop culture trends.

So, I went further down the Hertzfeldt rabbit hole and watched It's Such a Beautiful Day, a 60 minute feature film he made in 2012, available on Netflix.

Holy shit, that is surely as intense as stick figure animation can theoretically get.

It's all about illness and aging and mortality and is a complete existential mindfuck. I can't exactly recommend it to anyone, but I'm pretty sure you've never seen anything like it.

Maybe watch it?
