I watched the first 2 seasons and intend to go with 3. Are we saying it's about to be released?

I'll tell you what I just did.

It's very stupid and I did it and now I'm going to talk about it.

I recorded the movie Love Actually. Here's why:

I saw it when it came out which was quite awhile back. 2003. That was before I started keeping ratings so I have no concrete indication of my feelings post-viewing.

My memory is of being basically okay with it. No passionate objection stands out in my mind. But ever since then I keep remembering little tidbitty things and I think, 'That sounds awful.'

But then I also frequently hear people rating it as one of their top romcoms of all time or whatever. And then I get mad at them because of these vaguely remembered tidbits and I have convinced myself I hate it.

So that's why I taped it. Basically, I want to make sure I hate it.

Oh. Not seeing the whole season for d/l anywhere yet. Just individual episodes.

Maybe I'll start with episode 1. Seems like there could be something to that.

There is a new Jurassic Park movie and apparently this time, something happens and some dangerous dinosaurs get loose.

Can't hardly wait.

Aquarius is like a 7 and binge watchable.

Got a pop-up reminder that a mini-series called The Making of the Mob starts tonight. On AMC. So I guess at some point in the past I saw something that made me think it might be worth a shot.

So passing that info along.

In the last episode, Stannis Baratheon took big and decisive steps in the direction of ---> we hate him.

So that was the season finale of Game of Thrones this past weekend.

We can expect more next April, so I see.

I feel like we have lost our focus on thrones. I want the show to be more about thrones. Stannis at least was showing an interest in the throne.

Good for Cercei getting all nekkid though.

Still, while it has never been a top show in my book, it's not in danger of dumping. It's sitting around a 6.6 I would say.

That was also the finale of Veep. After a few very strong episodes early in the season it settled into okayness. Looks like they are well set up to have my prediction of Hugh Laurie, the VP running mate, actually becoming president through wacky circumstances and Elaine will return to being Veep.

It's also scheduled to come back next April. GoT I semi-understand with the long delay between seasons.

Taking almost a year to come up with 10 new half hour episodes of Veep ----> come on.

Re: GoT, I don't think that dudeguy is really dead dead. I know he's not back for Season 6, but they didn't say he wouldn't be back for Season 7, allegedly the last.
