I would say TD was a better mini-series than Fargo - which won in the mini-series category - however TD was not nominated as a mini-series.

In all seriousness True Detective suffered from terrible timing. Breaking Bad had to have a final round of awards to honour their last season.

I agree that TD shoulda got a lot more recognition.

It was indeed better than Fargo.
