I don't even know why I'm asking these questions. I am completely absorbed in two series right now. If I have a free half hour at the end of the day to watch a half episode of something, it's hard enough to decide between Deadwood and Orange without throwing new things into the mix.

This is my assessment of Modern Family - which won a bunch of Emmy's (Emmies ??) apparently.

Breaking Bad also a big winner.

Actually, of some note re the Emmys, I see Martin Freeman won for Best Supporting Actor in a mini-series or movie.

Ah, good, I thought, as I had been raving about him here all through Fargo. Feeling all vindicated and whatnot.

True Detective should have won some major shit. What a fuckin farce, that shit was awesome. Arguably better than Breaking Bad and those two were far and away better than anything else. Yeah, that's right.
